This was a year-long project of painting the sunrise everyday. It was about showing up briefly as the brush hits the canvas. The canvases served as time sheets for this ritual. An evidence of the brief presence of light breaking through. The paintings are abstract rather than representational.

Day | Month | Year - Stitching Time

Stitching the date the day of was a way of marking time as well as a proof of Being. Backstitch was an intentional choice since it captures a versatile forward and backward movement. It makes a good metaphor of what a day looks like. The specific stitch style encapsulates the musings and the actions that one goes through in a day.

Postcards from Hrvatska

A series of environmental portraits during a trip to Krk, Hrvatska and its neighboring towns. Hrvatska is the old name of Croatia. Instead taking photos, committing solely to visual memory, these postcards served as a snapshot of the time spent there.
