My interests are of the mundane and quotidian. I am drawn to the practice of repetition, rituals and rhythms. The idea of time is deeply embedded in my creative practice and process. The act itself serves as marking of presence and being present. The transitory aspect of time drives me to create by clicking, sketching, cutting, folding, stitching and moving as a means of making the moment permanent. As I dive into these interests, the pieces that come out from the explorations are expressed in an interdisciplinary body of work.
